The Hunter Invitational was conceived in 2007 by Hunter Museum Chief Curator Nandini Makrandi as a means to look more deeply into artists in the Southeast with an eye toward trends in the art world as well as current events.
Opening in January 2026, the fifth iteration of The Hunter Invitational will feature eight artists working in a range of mediums and subject matter to create new pieces or expand upon a series already in progress.
Delve deeper into some of the most compelling and innovative artists in the Southeast today, and delight in the “discovery” of artists working in our own region.
We are pleased to showcase the following artists in The Hunter Invitational V :
Corrine Colarusso (Atlanta, GA)
Jerushia Graham (Jonesboro, GA)
Katie Hargrave (Chattanooga, TN) in collaboration with Meredith Laura Lynn (Tallahassee, FL)
Althea Murphy-Price (Knoxville, TN)
Generously sponsored by:
