Sunday Studio

Sunday, September 14

Enjoy drop-in art experiences for kids and families, activities with our partners from The Downtown Library and the Houston Museum, and an interactive experience with Art To Empower’s Capoeira Chattanooga program. The first hour features a creative art activity where children will decorate their own pandeiro, a percussion instrument used in capoeira, while live music is provided by Coach Cherokee. In the second hour, families are invited to participate in a capoeira movement and music session led by Coach Cherokee, blending rhythm, play, and joyful connection.

Regular admission applies. Members and youth 17 and under are free. Admission to this program is also free with a Chattanooga Public Library card if you’re attending with children.
