Family Fun Day

Enjoy art making, live performances and more inspired by our current special exhibition Gilded: Contemporary Artists Explore Value and Worth. Spend the afternoon crafting with the Chattanooga Public Library, the UTC Challenger STEM Learning Center, and the Houston Museum, sipping on Penny’s Lemonade and munching on fresh baked goods from Carving Rock Kitchen (cash or card accepted) and dancing to local Latinx music performed live during the event. Special dance performances and salsa dance instruction will take place starting at 3:15pm.

Regular admission applies; members and youth 17 & under are free. Admission to this program is also free with a Chattanooga Public Library card if you’re attending with children.

Gilded is organized by the Weatherspoon Art Museum at UNC Greensboro and curated by Emily Stamey.
