The Hunter is pleased to welcome back in person our artist speaker series with a talk by Dr. Fahamu Pecou. Dr. Pecou’s Monsters and Saints is one of the museum’s newest acquisitions and is featured in the current special exhibit “Beyond the Frame: Celebrating 70 Years of Collecting.”

Dr. Pecou’s work explores the intersection of hip-hop, fine art, and pop culture to challenge and subvert viewers’ preconceptions of Black masculinity.
