Becoming a member of the Hunter Museum of American Art is your annual pass to see an amazing collection of American Art and learn what it means to be American in the 21st century. As a member, your calendar will be filled with fun, informative, and unique events for art lovers of all ages, and you will have access not only to the museum’s permanent collection galleries, but also all of the special exhibitions the Hunter brings to Chattanooga each year.


Your support of the Hunter allows us to bring art, education, and community engagement programs to tens of thousands of visitors each year. Whether you are interested in volunteering, monetary contribution, or purchasing your next License Plate we offer numerous ways to give and support the Hunter.

The Hunter is your community art museum. We strive to be accessible to as many people as possible. Your unrestricted, 100% tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund supports our commitment to giving free admission to:

- All children age 17 and under
- Active military and their families
- Families who attend our “Family Fun Days” offered three times a year
- All visitors on the first Thursday evening of each month
