Art the Mouse

Hi, my name is Art and I live in the Hunter Museum of American Art.

I have my very own apartment in the museum’s mansion.

Sometimes, I like to sneak out of my apartment to go look at the artwork.

This is one of my favorite paintings. It is called A Symbol [1] and it is a landscape painting.


Landscapes are paintings, drawings, or photographs of nature.

This is a landscape I drew.

 

I think I did a good job. A really important part of a landscape is the horizon line.

A horizon line is the line between the sky and ground in an artwork.
