All American Summer

As the Hunter Museum prepares to celebrate summer, the All-American Summer concert series grows to eight weeks of performances featuring some of the best in local and regional music.

The series begins with a ‘Bend Unplugged performance on Saturday, June 8 at 2 p.m. Then, each Thursday night, Hunter visitors can enjoy great music by local and regional artists, a cash bar and the tasty truly all American favorites of GOOD DOG, along with the best view in the city. The fun extends to our July and August FREE First Sundays with music and other activities.

In addition to the All American music, visitors to the Hunter will also have the opportunity to explore a new exhibition featuring the work of internationally renowned, MacArthur Award-winning artist Whitfield Lovell. The exhibition features works from the last five years, including Lovell’s signature “tableaux,” constructed of intricate charcoal drawings on vintage wood juxtaposed with found objects. Lovell also created a large, site-specific installation specifically for the Hunter Museum.

The All American Summer concerts are included with regular admission unless otherwise noted. Evening events also feature a cash bar. And remember, Hunter Museum members receive free admission to the entire concert series!
