Docents are enthusiastic volunteer teachers, ambassadors and tour guides who enjoy working with visitors of all ages, particularly school age visitors. Comprehensive training is offered in the fall, as well as monthly enrichment sessions on the Hunter permanent collection and special exhibitions. - Summer Camp Volunteer
Availability: At least 6 hours a week during the months of June and July. The ideal applicant is a high school junior or senior with interests in art, education and young children. Camp volunteers aid summer camp counselors and instructors in the facilitation of camp activities; help campers complete tasks; help prepare snack; and are an extra set of eyes on campers during outdoor activities.
