Tours and Group Rates

Interested in bringing your group to the Hunter Museum? Booking your group online is fast and easy.

The Hunter offers 3 ways for groups to visit the Hunter.

  • Self-Guided - Tour the Hunter at your own pace. Self-guided groups often include adult groups or school groups with teachers who are using the galleries as part of a lesson plan. These groups must reserve their time slot at least one week before their arrival. Adult groups may find our self-guided brochure useful as they prepare for their trip.
  • Docent Guided - Our Docents can guide your group through the Hunter Museum's galleries. Adults and school groups who are visiting the Hunter for the first time often elect to reserve this type of tour. These groups must reserve their time slot at least 21 days in advance.
  • Studio Tours - These groups are generally attended by Pre-K - 12 th grade school students who will have the opportunit y to create art as well as tour selected works pertaining to their art activity. These groups must reserve their time slot at least 21 days in advance.

All reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis depending on availability and gallery space.
