Become a Hunter Member

Joining the Hunter Museum of American Art is your annual pass to all that the museum has to offer.Each visit is an opportunity to learn, create, discover and experience. Your Hunter Museum membership supports quality exhibitions and educational programming.The Hunter offers a variety of membership levels designed for individuals, couples and families.

Hunter members enjoy unlimited museum visits, advance notifications to Hunter exhibitions, invitations to members-only events and previews, as well as discounts in the Museum Store, local businesses, restaurants and galleries.

  • Friends of African American Art: $100 and $250

    Membership Add-On

    Friends of African American Art (FAAA) is an interest group formed by the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and the Hunter Museum of American Art for art lovers who are interested in preserving and showcasing African American art.

    Members of FAAA are dedicated to fostering a rich cultural environment for individuals of all backgrounds through education about and promotion of all facets of African American art. Membership fees go towards a fund to acquire works of African American Art for Bessie Smith Cultural Center and the Hunter Museum of American Art. FAAA members also enjoy a wide range of educational and social activities, including lectures, exhibition previews, collecting workshops, and meetings with artists and other professionals in the arts.
