ART WISE: DISTINGUISHED SPEAKERS SERIES PRESENTS SANFORD HIRSCH

  • Hunter Museum of American Art 10 Bluff View Avenue Chattanooga, TN, 37403 United States

We are proud to welcome Sanford Hirsch, Executive Director of the Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Foundation, to speak about our current exhibit of paintings and monotypes by Adolph Gottlieb. Come learn more about what Gottlieb meant when he said, "The role of the artist is that of image-maker. Different times require different images."

As part of Throwback Thursday, this talk is offered to the public at the Throwback price of $5 adults (free for members and children under 17). This will include an opportunity to visit our special exhibitions of work by Adolph Gottlieb and Beth Lipman.

The ArtWise Series is generously sponsored by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee Community Trust. Media support provided by Brewer Media.
