Politicians continually refer to our national image, presenting verbal images of who we are as a nation, who we were, and who we hope to be. But how do we encapsulate that self image – what does it look like? Who is included in it? Who has access to it? Join Civic Engagement Advocate, Nooga Columnist and UTC history professor David Martin as we walk through a 19th century landscape painting to discover the real meaning of a national image for the past, for the present and most importantly for the future.
Like all art + issues programs this evening is free to all in the community.
