Join us for the next in our distinguished speaker series as the Hunter welcomes artist Lalla Essaydi. An artist of Middle Eastern descent known for her images that blend Islamic Calligraphy with images of the female body, her work can be found in major museum collections worldwide. Essaydi's "Odalisque" is an important contemporary work in the Hunter's collection that has intrigued and haunted many of our guests. On this night we will have a chance to learn more about this piece and much more. The Art Wise series is generously sponsored by the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee Community Trust with additional support from Sally and Buddy Faulkner.
