As the March lion turns into the lamb we will welcome the contrasts of this changing season with a mindful afternoon balancing through the Hunter’s popular Artful Yoga program. Begin today’s practice with a gallery discussion in our new Smithsonian exhibition about spring renewals of connections and getting beyond difference to unite ourselves with others. Then we’ll move into the yoga practice in the lobby (or outside, weather depending), led today by instructor Madia Swicord, Chattanooga Yoga School founder and owner of Madia’s Healing Arts Studio (www.madiastudio.com).
Free to all and open to all levels, participants asked to bring own mat as the museum does not own mats. No advanced registration, just sign in when you come to the Museum that day.
