Serwer, Chief Curator of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture will speak with us about African American art and collecting today and about the new museum that will soon open. Program co-presented by the Friends of African American Art. Admission is free to Hunter Members, Members of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center and Members of the Friends of African American Art.
