Home School Workshop: Museum Buildings and Their Architecture

Most of us visit museums to see what's inside, but have you ever taken a good look at the outside of a museum and considered its architecture? The Hunter Museum is made up of three buildings with very distinct architectural styles. The three building not only house and protect the Museum's collection but are also part of the collection with unique histories all their own. Come learn about the largest pieces in the Hunter's collection as you discover the trends, styles and ideologies that influenced the architecture of the time.
